Meditation for Daily Living 2 Mini Retreat: Deepening Meditation
Prerequisites: Meditation for Daily Living 1, or equivalent. Regular meditation practice.
Note: If you are a beginner, please contact Dr. Judith and she will help your meet the prerequisite if you are motivated to do the work.
In this mini retreat we learn how to deepen the experience of meditation on the Inner Self through:
- Steady posture (both mental and physical)
- Breathing (pranayama)
- Intention and articulating personal goals and action plans for meditation practice
- Commitment and exploring/dissolving obstacles
- Dharanas (concentration techniques)
- Chanting
- Mantra repetition, the practice of japa in everyday life, meditation with mantra
We will review some of the content of Meditation for Daily Living 1.
Meditation for Daily Living 3 Mini Retreat: Understanding the Kundalini/Chakra/Nadi System, Spiritual Awakening and the Role of the Masters
Prerequisites: Meditation for Daily Living 1 & 2
In this mini retreat we gain knowledge of the kundalini, the chakras, the nadis and the process of the awakening of the kundalini through discussion of:
- The kundalini/chakra/nadi system
- The signs and symptoms of kundalini awakening and the mystical experiences of meditation
- The difference between spontaneous kundalini awakening and awakening given by a fully Realized Master
We will be doing an extended period of chanting and meditation during this meditation retreat.
